Mixing Pads are designed to be used in the mixing and kneading of dental material such as impression material, cement, or resin-based (composite), rubber based and silicate materials.
Mixing pads and slabs can be used for hand-mixing most dental materials. Slabs are typically made of glass coated with a nonstick surface and backed with a non-skid base. Disposable pads are usually covered with a waterproof, nonstick overlay.
