How to Anchor Dental Chair on a Concrete Floor:
Step 1 – Prepare the dental chair by placing the anchor bracket on its base.
Step 2 – Mark where you will be drilling the holes for the masonry anchor. Position the chair over the marks.
Step 3 – Take out your hand drill with a 10mm diameter masonry bit.
Step 4 – Drill approximately 100mm down to the concrete floor.
Step 5 – Drive the M10 anchor into the drilled hole and make sure the washer is placed snugly atop the floor. Tighten the bolts.
Step 6 – Remove the washer and anchor bolt and reposition the dental chair.
Step 7 – Realign the anchor bracket using the expandable concrete anchor.
Step 8 – Drive the anchor bolt through the washer and the anchor bracket and into the expandable concrete anchor. Tighten the bolt securely onto the anchor racket.
Step 9 – Move the dental chair to its ideal position.

Run water through the handpieces and the water/air syringes.
Run water through handpiece waterlines after every use.
Run the suction cleaner through the saliva ejector tubing and operatory HVE.
Clean the delivery unit traps.
Drain and clean the ultrasonic cleaner.
Regularly remove/replace the waste container.
Lubricate the prophy and contra-angles after use.

Check around for safety hazards within the clinic.
Replace the traps on the delivery units.
Perform a biological spore test with each sterilizer.
Check to see if all gaskets are in good condition.
Check to see if the O-rings on the handpiece couplers need replacement.

Clean and check to see if the master trap needs replacing.
Clean the panoramic cassettes and intensifying screen.
Clean the model trimmer.
Clean and check to see if the plaster trap needs replacing.
Check the level of your nitrous oxide systems and emergency oxygen units to see if they are working correctly.
The patient monitoring equipment must always be up to code and is functioning correctly.
