Maintenance of high-speed dental handpieces

1. Refueling must be done before high-temperature and high-pressure disinfection, not before use.

2. Try to use good products when cleaning and lubricating,High-speed handpieces must be lubricated and maintained twice a day with cleaning lubricant or good quality cleaning lubricant, once at noon and once in the afternoon. If used continuously for more than 30 minutes, the appropriate time should be selected during the treatment process for cleaning and refueling. If it is sterilized at high temperature and high pressure, it must be thoroughly cleaned and maintained before cleaning.Refuel from the air inlet at the rear end of the handpiece until oil mist sprays out of the handpiece (about 2-3 seconds). All high-speed s and contra-angle s have bearing devices inside. If they are not regularly maintained and lubricated, they will become the main cause of early failure.

3. No idling is allowed; it is easy to damage the cartridge.

4. Prevent bumps, otherwise it will easily affect the life of the clamping device and bearings, and even the life of the handpiece.

5. Using a needle that does not meet the diameter requirements will cause the clamping device to fail (the standard needle diameter is 1.59-1.60 mm).

6. The air supply pressure and air supply quality must meet the corresponding configuration requirements of each handpiece.

7.Please do not use oxidizing potential water (strong acidic water) or disinfectant to clean the , which will cause early failure.

8.It is recommended to use high temperature and high pressure method to disinfect the . Cleaning and lubrication must be done before disinfection.

9.When using the needle of the pressing , use cleaning lubricating oil to lubricate and maintain the chuck part that clamps the needle every week to remove the dirt residue in the chuck. If it is not cleaned, it will cause the needle to not be clamped tightly.

10.The air pressure range of the  is: high speed: 1.8-2.2HPA; low speed: 2.5-3.0HPA. Do not overload. Excessive air pressure can easily damage the bearing or break the needle.Use air pressure that has been dried and filtered.Check the compressor and filter regularly and perform certain maintenance.

11.For needles with different working diameters, please pay attention to their corresponding speeds, otherwise it will accelerate the damage of the bearing.

Precautions:

1）. After each use, please make sure to clean the dust particles sucked back into the phone. Avoid particles from damaging the bearings.

2）. Before using a newly repaired phone, please open the back cover of the phone, take out the axis and wrap the head with a paper towel, clean the dust particles remaining in the air path with cleaning lubricating oil, install the axis and back cover, and clean them before use.
